How the reported volcano-crater mutation works, why delivery time matters, and what remains unverified about Magma odds and stacking.

How to attempt Magma

1. Choose an egg you can afford to lose and rehearse a return from the volcano summit to your ranch.
2. Bring the egg to the crater and use the displayed DROP IN VOLCANO interaction.
3. Stay nearby until the result appears; the reports describe cancellation if you leave during processing.
4. Read the remaining carry timer, return immediately, place the egg and finish hatching.
5. Inspect the resulting pet’s label and stats. Reaching the crater alone does not complete the hatch.

Reported rules, not measured odds

The odds, multiplier, one-attempt rule and failure penalty remain publication claims. One checked success does not measure a success rate or promise the same timer adjustment every time.

Does it require a Volcanic Egg?

No Volcanic-only rule is supported by the example: the checked result names Bloom. In GamerNom’s video, the frame near 3:38 shows the crater and lava; 3:43 shows the Bloom-to-Magma message with an active Egg Will Break countdown. We did not follow that egg through a completed hatch.

Collecting a cave egg and attempting a crater mutation are different choices. If you only want to deliver an egg, follow the Volcanic route straight home.

Can Magma stack with weather?

Not established here. AllThingsHow says it cannot, while our earlier client-text evidence permits hatch and weather traits generally to combine. That older text does not name Magma. We therefore make no Magma stacking or combined-multiplier promise.

Before spending another egg

Check whether the same egg already had an attempt, whether the processing result finished, and whether you can still reach home. Keeping one useful egg is better than assuming repeated drops guarantee a mutation.
