Ride A Pet Egg Timer: How to Bring Eggs Home

Prepare the return route before pickup, respond to Egg Will Break and separate normal delivery from the volcano cave countdown.

Before you pick up

1. Locate your ranch marker and leave room in your basket.
2. Practice the path from the target area back to your ranch without an egg. Pay attention to cave openings, tree branches and places where your mount gets stuck.
3. Choose a route you can repeat reliably. If a jump is uncertain, change the route or mount before committing to the pickup.

While the timer is running

1. Confirm the pickup and read the warning immediately. Turn toward the return path you prepared.
2. Skip shops and additional searching. In a cave, find the physical opening first; moving toward a home marker through a wall will not get you out.
3. At your ranch, follow the placement prompt. Then check the egg’s progress and use Hatch when Ready.

If you keep running out of time

Identify the slowest part of the trip: reaching the exit, making a jump, finding your ranch or finishing placement. Practice that part without an egg. Compare another mount on the same route before spending another radar. If the egg is no longer carried, read the current message and world list; this guide cannot promise recovery or a refund.

Volcano: escape the cave, then continue home

The volcano recording shows a separate Egg Will Return warning and an instruction to escape the lair. Rehearse both the upward cave exit and the outside route to your ranch.
